The Draft

We'll hold a live snake draft to build the two teams. Then, before every round, a second draft sets the actual pairings on the course.

Building the Teams

  • 2 Captains are named first.
  • The remaining 14 players are drafted in snake order.

Setting the Pairings

  • 1 Team A selects which player(s) they want to send out first.
  • 2 Team B selects which player(s) they want to match up against them.
  • 3 Team B then selects their next player(s) to put forward.
  • 4 Team A selects who they want to match up against Team B's pick.
  • 5 Repeat until all 8 matches are set.

This gives each team the ability to strategically match up their best players — or save their ace for the right moment.

Three Rounds, Three Formats

Each session brings a different format and a different way to earn points for your team.

Saturday Morning

Best Ball

4 pts

18 Holes · 2-Man Teams

  • Each team splits into groups of 2 — one group from each team plays together per tee time.
  • All 4 players hit their own ball on every hole.
  • The team records the single lowest score among its 2 players on each hole.
  • Handicap strokes applied per player — net best ball.
  • Points awarded at the end of the round for lowest total score.

Saturday Evening

Scramble

4 pts

9 Holes · 2-Man Teams

  • Captains pair 2 players from their team together for this session.
  • Both players tee off, then pick the best of the two shots — both play their next shot from that spot.
  • Repeat after every shot, always playing from the best ball, until the hole is finished.
  • A true team format — communication and course management are everything.
  • Points awarded at the end of the round for lowest total score.

Sunday Morning

Stroke Play

8 pts

Singles · 1v1

  • Every player on each team competes 1v1 against a player from the opposing team.
  • Each player plays their own ball for the full round, holing out on every hole.
  • The player with the lower net score across the round wins the match.
  • Handicap strokes applied per the difference between players' handicaps.
  • Each completed match is worth 1 point.

How Points Work

Points are tallied across all three sessions. The team with the most points at the end of Sunday's round wins the Cup.
