Privacy Policy

ATeeL Golf ("ATeeL Golf", "we", "us") runs the website ateelgolf.com and the ATeeL Golf app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions? Email events.atlgolf@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see it). Optionally your phone number, handicap and home course.
- ATeeL+ membership and billing: your plan, membership status and billing dates. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only the card brand, last four digits and expiry date to show you which card is on file. When you join ATeeL+, we record the exact billing authorization you agreed to, when you agreed to it, and the IP address and device information it came from.
- Events: the events you register for, the number of spots, how you paid (card, Zelle or free), any notes you add, and Zelle reference codes.
- Member benefits: each time a perk is redeemed with your member QR code — which perk, where and when.
- Community (app, ATeeL+ members): your community profile (display name, handicap, home course, short bio), posts and replies on the Tee Sheet, messages you send to other members, and reports and blocks you make.
- Contact forms: information you send us through forms on the website (for example, name, email and interests).
- Technical information: basic logs our hosting providers keep to run the service securely (such as IP address, browser or device type, and pages requested).
How we use it
- To create and run your account, ATeeL+ membership and event registrations, and to charge your card as you authorized.
- To verify and track member perks at our partner venues.
- To run the members-only community, including keeping it safe: reviewing reported content and enforcing our Terms of Use.
- To send you service emails, such as sign-up confirmations, billing reminders, payment problems and event registrations.
- To answer your questions, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run parts of our service for us, under their own privacy and security commitments: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and accounts), Vercel (website hosting), Google (email and forms), and Expo and Apple (the app).
- Partner venues see the name and email of members who redeem a perk at their venue, and when, so they can verify redemptions. They do not see your billing or other information.
- Other ATeeL+ members see your community profile, posts and replies. Your email address and phone number are never shown to other members. Messages are visible only to you and the member you're messaging — unless one of you reports a message, in which case ATeeL Golf admins can review that message.
- As required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our members, partners or ATeeL Golf.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your login, profile, community posts and messages. We keep records we're required to keep for accounting and legal reasons — such as payments, billing authorizations, event payments and perk redemptions — detached from your deleted account.
Your choices
- Update your card or cancel ATeeL+ anytime from your dashboard or the app.
- Hide yourself from the member directory in your community profile, and block any member.
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing us from the address on your account.
- Access or correct your information by emailing events.atlgolf@gmail.com.
Children
ATeeL Golf is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls, and payment processing by Stripe so card numbers never touch our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we'll let members know by email or in the app. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
